Here are the berry tree bonus pool values paid out in April for the March period:

Bronze Bonus Pool $34.60
Silver Bonus Pool — $34.99
Gold Bonus Pool — $160.78
Regional Bonus Pool — $133.00
National Bonus Pool — $131.00
International Bonus Pool — $241.18
1-Star Bonus Pool — $424.93

And now for a brief comparison to last month’s pool values:

Once again, the Bronze, Silver, and Gold bonus pools slightly decreased. However, the higher levels, including Regional and up, enjoyed a slight increase.

Gary Smith, 3-Star Director in Nutronix International, claimed that new developments within the berry tree are being planned that should definitely increase the effectiveness of this opportunity. Hopefully, along with these changes, we will be able to experience higher bonus pool levels.

However, we won’t know for sure until May. Stay tuned! πŸ˜‰

Trying to build your berry tree business and interested in increasing your conversion rates and team growth effect?

Here’s a very simple statement I originally picked up from another experienced MLM-er at Richdad.com a few years ago that can help you achieve better results: “Treat your MLM like a business, NOT a hobby.

— — —

So, what exactly does that mean? Let’s take a closer look at the underlined statements. In the initial stages of building a business, your end rewards will depend on how much time, effort, and creativity you put into developing the business. In other words, if you give a half-hearted or lazy effort to get your business off the ground, the end results will be very disappointing. “You reap what you sow,” or so to speak.

However, a hobby is usually defined as something of specific interest that you do in your spare time; i.e. “something you do for fun or recreation.

Today, many people in MLM- especially the novices- immediately begin to treat their MLM position as a hobby. They come home from work, and say: “Hmm, well I could work on my marketing website and contact my leads, or I could watch TV for the next 2 hours.” And if they feel like watching TV, they watch TV- plain and simple. Sometimes, they even use common justifications such as: “After all, I worked for 8 hours today; I deserve to watch TV (or whatever alterative may be substituted)!”

Now, before I go on, yes I realize that many people would not consider “watching TV” a hobby; however, that’s not the point. The real keyword is one you may not have picked out or immediately noticed: “FEEL.” A hobby is something you usually participate in only when you FEEL like it. And when you begin to build your MLM business and work on your promotions only when feel like it, you sholdn’t expect to accomplish anything special.

After all, can you imagine how a traditional, brick-and-mortar business would operate if the CEO and Executives only came to work and managed the company when they “felt” like getting out of bed in the morning or “felt” like reading through reports and making key decisions? That company would be in major trouble! The same is true for MLM distributors who treat their business as a hobby.

— — —

This is not only true for the Nutronix MLM, with Automatic Builder or the berry tree, but also for nearly every other MLM program out there. So, no matter what MLM you may be building, if you don’t feel like your team is growing fast enough, take a good look at how you are currently operating your business. Is it more like a hobby? If so, consider changing your habits.

Here are the berry tree bonus pool values paid out in March for the February period:

Bronze Bonus Pool $47.65
Silver Bonus Pool — $38.25
Gold Bonus Pool — $180.16
Regional Bonus Pool — $130.48
National Bonus Pool — $126.93
International Bonus Pool — $199.46

And here’s just a basic summary of the change in this month’s payouts compared to last month:

The Bronze, Silver, and Gold pools each decreased by a small amount. However, the Regional and National Pools increased. No sharp changes on either side of the fence.

Some members have expressed their concerns about the bonus pools decreasing in value. As I’ve stated before in previous articles, this is a temporary process since the corporate advertising benefits have just started to kick in this past month.

And if you don’t want to take my word for it, you can read what Matt Yonan had to say about berry tree bonus pool behavior in his recent e-mail to all Bronze Pool qualifiers:

We had a lot of new members join in February (the month you are getting the Bronze Pool commissions from) except they are not contributing into the pools yet.

For the next few months you may see the Bronze Pool fluctuate, and some people wonder why – we just wanted to remind you that it’s a balance between new people coming in, and other people reaching the Bronze Pool.

You can read the full e-mail in our “Company Updates” section.

Alright- well, it’s been quite an “interesting” month so far. And if you’re already a member of the Berry Tree and you’ve been paying attention to the e-mails and updates, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

The website itself has been acting a little crazy, and we’ve seen a few errors here and there. So, I figured it’d be wise to go through these changes and notices, starting with March 18, 2008:

— — —

Episode #1: Technical Problems – March 18

Yeah, we know…those are probably some of the last words you want to see as a member of an internet-based marketing system. Putting all the mumbo-jumbo details aside, essentially the Berry Tree was facing some issues with their server, which is a temporary problem that any website faces on the internet sooner or later; sometimes even on multiple occassions. And, as long as the errors are only temporary, there is nothing to worry about in the long-run.

Episode #2: The Site is back up! – March 20

The programmers went to work! In the end, they decided to move Automatic Builder and the Berry Tree websites and other information to a completely different hosting company. That’s definitely a good move, especially if they felt that their current operating server was going to give them further problems down the road.

At the time, there were still a few problems with links and re-directs on the main sites, but most of these problems have already been taken care of by now.

Episode #3: Bronze Pool Confusion – also on March 20

So, anyway, after sending out an update about the hosting platform changes, the administrators decided to send out another e-mail congratulating and updating all members who had earned a share in the Bronze pool for the February period. Sounds like a nice gesture, right?

The problem was that the introductory statement – “Congratulations on earning a share in the Bronze Pool this month” – suggested that each receiver of this particular e-mail was a qualifier. However, this e-mail was sent to EVERY member of the Berry Tree- both bronze pool qualifiers and non-qualifiers.

An apology for the confusion was sent out on the 24th of March…but if you were still unsure about this notice, please note that you must have 10 credits (Berry Member Credits + Personally Sponsored) to qualify.

— — —

And there you have it, folks. March Madness was indeed upon us in two forms this year πŸ˜‰

Each “Episode” I listed above was actually a condensed version of an e-mail update from Nutronix…in my own words, of course. I figured you’d rather read the brief summary and quickly get all the basic details, as opposed to spending 10 minutes reading all the direct e-mail content.

But, if you wish to read the exact updates, you can find them in our Company Updates section of the blog.

If you haven’t noticed yet- and all you literally have to do is “look around” to notice- I’ve been covering a lot of information about the Berry Tree bonus pools and the company projections for future pool values.

The Berry Tree itself is a very unique opportunity, but since it revolves around a completely different system when compared to other traditional MLM companies, we will inevitably see challenges that pop-up and require time to overcome. And over time, BT founders and developers have had to tweek the system in order to maximize the distributor’s rewards.

— — —

As mentioned before in other articles, many people are extremely worried about the Bronze pool decreasing to $62 in the past month. However, let’s take a look at the past. We’ll see just how low these bronze pool shares were reduced, prior to 2008:

August 2007 – Bronze Pool Value: $39.22

September 2007 – Bronze Pool Value: $22.92
Change from previous month: -$16.30

October 2007 – Bronze Pool Value: $20.64
Change from previous month: -$2.28

November 2007 – Bronze Pool Value: $67.07
Change from previous month: $46.43

December 2007 – Bronze Pool Value: $92.91
Change from previous month: $25.84

— — —

Let’s take note of a couple things with this given example:

1. First of all, the Bronze Pool value was as low as $20 at one time! However, the company started to tweek the berry tree payplan and bonus requirements, which eventually lifted the Bronze Pool to record levels.

2. Notice that after the Bronze Pool began to increase during the November commission period, both of the increasing rate’s absolute value (Nov & Dec) was larger than the decreasing rates for the previous months.

— — —

So, what does this all mean?

Well, we’ve seen that the company was able to dig the dying bonus pools out of their hole in past experiences; chances are- even if worse comes to worst- the Berry Tree will be able to recover once again.

For those that are a tad irritated with the recent decrease:
I suggest looking over the above chart one more time. Just because the value is down at this current time does not mean it will remain at a low level. As the corporate advertising seeks to expand our membership levels to 100,000 people, you can expect a positive change!

Yes, it’s true!

The Berry tree bronze bonus pool did decrease this month by about $30. The January bonus pool share was worth $92, and February’s proved to be about $61. Now, as many of you probably already guessed, this decrease has people concerned and asking questions. I’ve even noticed a few minor panic episodes within forum communities.

If you’re part of the crowd that’s demanding to know “what’s going on?!” –
Don’t worry. You don’t really have any reason to panic. And here is why:

— — —

The Corporate Advertising Campaign just kicked in during February

As previously mentioned in other articles, the bonus pools take a certain amount of dollars- from $1 to 2.50 depending on the pool- from each individual full member in the Berry Tree. The total amount is then equally divided and dispersed among all members who qualify for that specific pool.

Therefore, this means that as more people qualify for the Bronze Pool, the shares will become smaller as more people join…UNLESS more members are constantly joining. That’s the simple math of the system.

— — —

“What does this have to do with the corporate advertising?”

At the beginning of this month, February of 2008, the company just initiated its campaign to advertise the Berry Tree and its free trial offer across the internet. It has been relatively successful so far and brought in 60-100 new people every day. However, the Berry Tree leaders intend for this campaign to eventually bring in 150 people per day, and potentially even more down the road.

As the company stands now, many people who initially joined the program when it was launched one year ago and have been slowly accumulating berry member credits (BMCs) are qualifying for the Bronze Pool for the first time. Since it only takes 20 months of loyalty to the Berry Tree- and only 12-15 months when you have an active Automatic Builder autoship- to earn 10 credits and thus qualify for the Bronze Pool, you’re going to see many new qualifiers over the course of the next couple months.

Is this something to worry about? No. It is true that the bronze pool took a hit this past month, and it may be rather slow to rise during the course of the next couple months due to the large wave of new bronze pool qualifiers. However, the advertising campaign is decided to catch up to this increasing rate of change and balance the numbers in our favor.

— — —

It’s not going to happen overnight…

It will take time to “balance the scale.” As I said earlier, we may have to endure a couple months of lower bronze pool shares in the $60-80 range. But, I believe the founders when they said their goal was to attempt to raise the Bronze pool levels to $150 or more.

So, if I had to summarize my recommendation to everyone worried about the current bonus pool drop in 25 words of less, here you go:

“Give it time. The bonus pools may not be worth gold right now, but eventually you’ll see an impressive increase.”

I think it’s necessary to issue a warning against some rather repetitive information on the internet that could become very misleading.

All over popular forums, blogs, and other internet article platforms, I’m finding authors who are essentially claiming that the company is going to fill your entire Berry Tree matrix for you- whether you recruit people or not- and you will automatically begin to earn $1336 every month after a 20 month period. There are many variations of this statement, but most follow the same idea.

However, this is NOT a safe promise, and the chances of this happening are extremely unlikely. Here’s why…

— — —

Let’s examine the mathematical aspects of this statement:

To earn $1336 residual each month, a member must have his tree completely filled. This requires 8 people on Level 1, 64 people on Level 2, and 512 people on Level 3; totalling 584 people.

Currently, the Berry Tree has a little over 10,000 full (or upgraded) members. This means that in order for each new Berry Tree member to be guaranteed a full tree in 20 months, the company must recruit at least 5,840,000 members; i.e. 584 x 10,000 within this time period!

And, sorry folks. I don’t mean to put a negative twist on the company efforts, but from a realistic MLM point of view, this is a very careless projection for a new-blooded company that is just initiating corporate advertising. One of the training calls mentioned that the company’s goal is to turn our 10K organization into over 100,000 people by 2009. That’s a 1000% increase; not necessarily an easy or guaranteed level, but it is at least a possibility.

Let’s compare that 100K to the 5-6 Million mark mentioned earlier. Now we’re talking about a 50,000 – 60,000% increase compared to 1000%!

Starting to see the flaw with the “lazy $1336” promises? It’s quite far from a realistic 20 month goal!

— — —

However, there is one true 20-month guarantee with the Berry Tree…

Perhaps specific advertisers and Berry Tree endorsers are confusing the matrix with the bonus pool requirements. It is true that anyone willing to commit to 20 months of autoship as an upgraded member will receive 10 berry member credits and thus qualify to earn from the Bronze bonus pool every month.

Yes, this is, in fact, guaranteed, because berry member credits can never be depleted or taken away. But, there is quite a difference between the bronze bonus pool shares and monthly residual income from a filled-tree. After all, we’re talking about $100-150 compared to $1336-1600 per month.

And, I certainly don’t mean to make light of this 20-month bonus. A guaranteed $50-100 and free product each month is certainly nothing to sneeze at. However, it’s more than necessary to clarify that people shouldn’t be expecting $1000s per month within 20 months if they do not plan to help build their own business.

— — —

This entire warning relates back to some of my past encouragements and articles, which point out that those who are willing to put the effort into building a Berry tree team are going to reap the highest rewards.

Regardless, please don’t allow yourself to be deceived by promises of thousands of dollars with little to no work; which applies no matter what business or investing arena you may choose.

Hey, everyone. I don’t normally like to spend a lot of time or blog space talking about my individual promotions, because this blog is intended for all viewers, which includes both current BT members and non-members.

However, I would just like to make a quick, exciting announcement to all those who are investigating my blog and/or the Berry Tree for the first time:

— — —

Starting the month of February (2008), our team will be offering special bonuses to any individual interested in joining our Berry Tree line.

We will actually be giving these new members 3 options to choose from. Our specific bonus system is designed to help our new members jump-start their business. However, we have provided options in order to satisfy both the passive members and business builders.

I won’t go into the major details here. For a more thorough explanation, please visit our blog’s new “Join/Bonus” page HERE.

You will also find a tab at the top of this blog entitled “Join BT, + Bonuses” which will take you to the same page.

— — —

Special thanks to 1-Star Automatic Builder and BT member, Ronnie Branch, for his support regarding this Berry Tree bonus project.

— — —

Enjoy, folks!

I’ve recently noticed that there are quite a few stories scattered across the internet about frustrations with the Berry Tree. Many of them are included in some rather nasty reports with messages such as “Don’t join the berry tree scam” and “this company is a rip-off.

So, I figured it would be rather helpful to look at some of these specific rumors and claims against the Berry tree’s performance, progress, and credibility. Which of them have some partial truths? And which claims are so far-fetched that we should laugh them off without a second thought? I can’t list all of them, but here are some of the popular examples:

— — — — —

“They claimed after 2 years, your tree would be full, and you would be making over $1300 per month.”

Although I wasn’t personally around during the ground-breaking of the Berry tree, this sure seems like one far-fetched rumor. The founders and major influences behind the Berry Tree, such as Matt Yonan and Art Phelps, would know better than to directly make such a careless promise to all members. They know full well that even the ideal network marketing system cannot necessarily guarantee an individual’s success to this extreme level.

I believe $1300 per month is a realistic goal, as I know many people who have accomplished this monthly level of success. However, only those who are willing to be patient and ready to work to build their business are going to achieve these commission levels.

BTW- The original statement is taken right from a complaint at RipOffReport.com, thanks to a “Mrs. Pickle:” http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/289/RipOff0289597.htm

— — —

“The company claimed they would do all the work for me!”

I hear this one a LOT. It is true that the company promised that special promotions would take place to generate spillover for all Berry Tree members on a fair basis. It’s also true that these intended promotions faced an unfortunate delay.

However, it is certainly NOT true that the Berry Tree program guaranteed anything specific to those who sat still and waited on spillover to determine the overall success or failure of their business. It is very helpful and encouraging when a MLM program makes an effort to supply spillover, but that spillover should never be considered anything more than an extra bonus. This is not a get-rich-quick scam; your overall success in this program will depend on individual, consistent effort.

— — —

“The bonus pools stopped increasing as promised. When will the bronze pool reach $500?”

Apparently, there are at least a couple people out there who were told that the bronze pool alone would reach unrealistic levels. Either they are making it up, or they had a upline who was feeding them hype and/or false information.

There’s not too much more to say about this one; it’s just plain wrong. It’s true that some bonus pools- including bronze and silver- were decreasing in value for a while. But, the pools are now on the way up again. They are expected to reach levels in the $100-200 range very soon; just don’t expect any ridiculous levels of $500 or so.

For more information about projected Bonus Pool progress, read our latest article: “Bonus Pools – Soon to Increase?”

— — — — —

Just remember there will always be people out there creating rumors and twisting words. We are dealing with an industry in which the vast majority joins in hopes of receiving a “free lunch,” and then quits once they realize MLM success requires commitment. And, of course, people love to vent as a result and blame the company, claiming it “must be a scam” or something similar.

Be careful who you believe out there. πŸ˜‰

Nutronix and the Berry Tree have just announced a new marketing option specifically available for Berry Tree Members. You can now purchase “Berry Sign-Ups” (BSUs).

What is a BSU?

BSUs are previous leads that have already shown an interest in the Berry Tree product and business opportunity. They have already signed up for the $4.95 trial offer, and company testing estimates that approximately 50% of BSUs will eventually sign up for the full membership.

If a BSU completes the enrollment to become a full member at the price of $54.95 per month, you are entitled to receive the $27.00 Fast Start Bonus, along with the equivalency of 1 berry member credit (BMC) for each month the member stays enrolled and continues his autoship. However, you do not qualify to receive the monthly residual income of $7.00, 4.00, or 2.00 (depending on the 3 levels), as your normally would if you originaly recruited your own BT members.

Cost of BSUs

Each BSU costs exactly $111. They are sold in packages of 3 BSUs for $333, or 5 BSUs for $555.

— — —

PROS:

These leads are pre-qualified and will automatically be set to upgrade their membership, unless they specifically cancel. In this situation, you would earn a one-time $27.00 back through Fast Start, which helps cover the overall cost. Since you also receive a Berry Member Credit (BMC) for each member, buying multiple packages of BSUs can significantly decrease the amount of time it takes you to qualify for the Bonus Pools, such as the Bronze Pool, Silver Pool, etc.

BSUs are initially sponsored by the company and converted into spillover for the entire community. As you buy and personally sponsor more BSUs, more individuals will receive spillover in their own trees. Therefore, even those who do not purchase BSU packages will benefit.

CONS:

If you sign-up a BSU, you do not receive the normal residual income, because the member was originally placed as spillover in another individual’s tree. Based on common MLM principles, monthly commisionable payments are the well-earned rewards for distributors. I say “well-earned” because a distributor is responsible for training his referrals and assisting their growth and promotions on a monthly basis. Therefore, when purchasing BSUs, you are immediately faced with a commission penalty.

There is also absolutely NO guarantee that the BSU will upgrade his/her membership, which could result in an immediate loss of $111. It is also worth noting that the majority of people who join MLM programs are tire kickers; i.e. people who are willing to do little to no work in order to develop their business. These people assume MLM is some kind of “get-rich-quick” magic program, and when they discover that MLM takes time, diligence, and effort, they drop out within 3-6 months. If your previous BSU drops out, you will lose your BMC.

— — —
My Personal Opinion:

I certainly don’t mean to sound like “Captain Negative,” but I’m not very impressed with the overall value of the BSUs when compared with their unit price.

I’m not excited about paying for the right to potentially train and support a member, while enduring a commission penalty. Also, $333 (minimum) is a large sum of money for most individuals. When you consider the fact that the vast majority of BSUs will either fail to upgrade or eventually drop out and forfeit your future BMCs, the cost of $111 per Berry Sign-up appears to be a rather steep Price-Tag.

I feel that $50-60 per BSU would prove to be a much more reasonable price range.

For those considering BSUs-

This is only my “opinion.” We all have the right to decide how we want to market this opportunity, whether we choose BSUs, GTTs, or another means. I believe I can use $111 to market much more efficiently than the average predicted reward that would result from purchasing these BSUs. Others may feel differently, each according to their own experience and abilities.

If you view BSUs as an attractive method to build your business, then by all means, feel free to give them a shot. For those that choose to use BSUs during January or sometime else in the near future, I wish you the best.

More information about BSUs is available here: http://automaticbuilder.com/bsu/

I would be very interested in reading others feelings and experiences regarding the BSUs. Please feel free to comment below!
